When will I receive my certificate from Hands-On, Minds-On!?

You will receive your certificate upon the completion of the entire institute and the STEAM talks seminars in mid-September 2013.

Do I have to submit my personal information to the College of Charleston through the online system?

No, you can request a paper copy of the registration form for $25 through the College of Charleston.  Please call (843) 953-7651.

How and when do I receive my grade for Hands-On, Minds-On!?

Your grades will be accessible through the College of Charleston's website.  Grades will be posted at the end of the fall semester in December 2013.  Go to the Documents section of this website to find the directions for viewing your grades.

When do I receive graduate credit?

You will receive your graduate credit at the completion of College of Charleston's Fall 2013 semester.  You must contact the College of Charleston to receive a transcript of your graduate credit.  College of Charleston

How do I get graduate credit?

You must register with the College of Charleston through their online system.  You will receive an email from EdVenture with instructions.  Please remember to bring a copy of your SC Driver's License or DMV-issued Identification Card and a copy of your SC Teaching Certificate to the Hands-On, Minds-On! Summer Institute.

Which evening events do I have to attend to receive graduate credit?

To acquire the sixty hours needed to earn the four hours of graduate credit, HMO participants are required to attend any four of the nine evening events made possible as part of EdVenture's series of STEAM talks with EDDIE held every month.

How many hours of graduate credit can I receive?

HMO participants will earn four hours of graduate credit through the College of Charleston. Everyone is expected to meet all requirements, including sixty (60) hours of face-to-face contact.

Can I take HMO for renewal credits?

No, HMO is only being offered as a graduate course.
